A minimum order requirement of £50.00 + VAT will apply to all orders.

The prices quoted online catalogue are in Pounds Sterling. We reserve the right to alter any advertised prices at any time. The prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added to your order at the time of checkout/invoicing.

We do try to ensure all prices on our website are accurate, however errors may occur. If an error is discovered we will contact you. In the event that you order and item and the price published is incorrect for an reason, we will endeavour to contact you to advise you of the correct price and determine whether you still want us to fulfil the order at the correct price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order if the product is displayed at the incorrect price.

No order will be accepted unless the total value of the order exceeds our minimum order size current at the time of the order as specified in our page of our website. We may amend the minimum order size from time to time at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
After placing an order you will receive contact from us acknowledging that we have received your order. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes as an offer to buy goods. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and we will confirm such acceptance by delivering the goods. The contract between us will only be formed once we accept your payment and deliver your goods.

The contract will only relate to those goods whose despatch is confirmed in our delivery note. We will not be obliged to supply any other goods which may have been part of your order.

All descriptions, photographs or illustrations contained on our website are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them. They shall not form part of the contract

Payment for goods is to made in full at the time of purchase where specified using the secure PayPal checkout facility or Credit, if granted, will not exceed the maximum limit specified of 30 days from the date of invoice. We reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities if our payment terms are not adhered to.

Payments for goods allowed on Credit, are to be made by cheque, made payable to Libra (UK) Jewellery Ltd or alternatively by BACS to:

All UK Mainland deliveries will be made free of charge using a carrier of our choice. Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday. Approximate delivery times for UK Mainland is 1-2 working days (except Public Holidays) upon receipt of your order.

Goods will be despatched to the address stated on the order confirmation. A signature for receipt of the goods will be required. Please note your goods may be sent to you in instalments. If you have still not received your goods after this time please contact Mermaids Customer Service department on +44 (0) 2476 456690.

We shall have no liability to you for the delay in delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to an event outside our reasonable control.

For hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of open packaging with our nail care items, unless such items are deemed damaged. Any damages should be reported immediately upon receipt of the goods to Mermaids Customer Services on +44 (0) 2476 456690, at which time it will be advised on arrangements for the return or such items and credits allowed.

All hair accessory stock is on a no sale or return basis.

We avoid selling items with sharp edges and do not supply goods for ages groups under 36 months.

The goods will be at your risk from the time of delivery or deemed delivered.

Ownership of the goods will pass to you when we receive payment in full (in cleared funds), for all sums due, including payment for the goods, delivery charges and any other sums which are/or become due from you on any account.

Until ownership of the Goods has passed to the customer (and provided the goods are in existence and have not been resold), the customer shall:

  • Hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as the bailee of Libra (UK) Jewellery Ltd
  • Not destroy, deface or obscure any identifying mark or packaging on or relating to the goods; and
  •  Maintain the goods in satisfactory condition and keep them insured on behalf of Libra (UK) Jewellery Ltd against all risks to the reasonable satisfaction of Libra (UK) Jewellery Ltd. On request the customer shall produce satisfactory evidence of insurance;
  • But the customer may resell or use the goods in the ordinary course of its business
